Poco X3 NFC drops with Snapdragon 732G, high-budget price
After a long time of waiting, the midranger from Poco finally arrives – say hello to the Poco X3 NFC. Though, the official name of the phone has near-field communication included, it also has plenty of other cool specs worthy of praise.
The X3 NFC comes with Snapdragon 732G chipset by Qualcomm, the feature makes the smartphone first in the world with it, and the company claims it is “the most advanced Snapdragon 700 series 4G processor to date”.
The front panel of the phone is a massive 6.67” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 screen ratio. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate for perfect gaming, and the selfie camera hides behind an unobtrusive punch hole in the top center.
The snapper itself is 20 MP f/2.2 with a few pixel binning technology for effective selfies in daylight.
The cameras positioned behind are the true X factor of this midranger. The Poco X3 NFC has a 64 MP main cam with a Sony IMX682 sensor behind the f/1.73” aperture and 6P lens. There is also a 13 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle cam with 119-degree FoV.
The other two cameras are 2 MP f/2.4 – one for near depth shots, the other is a depth sensor to assist the portrait photos. Poco brings in some AI features like Skyscaping 3.0, the obligatory Night Mode, ShootSteady video to artificially stabilize any clip.
The massive 5,160 mAh battery is mind-blowing. It comes with 33W fast charging and it ships with the proper 33W charger in the box. There is a USB-C port on the bottom and 3.5 mm audio jack next to it.
We hope you don’t disturb your neighborhood when you decide to listen to music on the speakers of the Poco X3 NFC. It comes with a dual stereo speakers – the earpiece, acting as a top speaker, comes with a 4cc-equivalent cavity, and there is another one on the bottom, a 1cc-equivalent.
Moving away from the obvious NFC from the name, other connectivity options also include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and a dual-SIM tray. The second slot is hybrid to house a micro SD card with up to 256 gigs of storage. The phone is IP53 compliant for water and dust splashes, has a Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and a “polycarbonate” (read plastic) panel on the back.
The Poco X3 NFC has with LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus. That includes a copper heat pipe and a graphite sheet for effective internal cooling and heat dissipation. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, doubling as a power key.
