Design and Display

Obviously, we have got the same model landing from the less premium predecessor. It’s placements are more similar, with the same build properties e.t.c. Moreover, many of the features are more different.

The front side of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G contains a 6.55 inch AMOLED display, which is a bit larger than what was seen on its small premium predecessor. It also contains a camera that has a single camera as challenged by the double front cameras on the predecessor premium Oppo Reno 4 5G.

The back side contains the same model with triple cameras, a camera flash, and the Oppo branding which showing that its an Oppo device.

Properties used for building the device includes Gorilla Glass 6 on the front, Gorilla Glass 6 on the rear and Aluminium on the frame.

Oppo Reno Pro 4 5G Cameras

The Camera setup brings some improvement to the table. Improvement that are concentrated on the triple rear camera model. This was meant to provide high quality photography and videos.

The 8MP ultrawide camera was upgraded up to 12MP, while the 2MP depth camera was changed to a 13MP ultrawide shooter. Moreover, the main camera wasn’t changed. It’s just the normal 48MP camera.

The selfie camera model went from its dual camera model into a single shooter. This actually indicated that the depth camera was removed. 32MP being the real selfie camera was left out.

Hardware and Software

The Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G have almost the same features with that of its little premium predecessor. The main dissimilarity here is the addition of a 12GB difference.

Below the hood of this device is the normal Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, 128GB, or 256GB of inbuilt storage, 8GB or 12GB RAM, Adreno 620 GPU and a non-removable 4000mAh battery.

As part of the software, it’s runned by ColorOS 7.2 inline of the Android 10 operating system.

Connectivity

The Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G contains a USB Type C Port and Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-band Wi-FI.

Just have in mind that the headphone jack wasn’t made available on this smartphone, which indicates that private listening audio happen through USB Type-C headphones or via wireless headset.

Internet connectivity on the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G is compatible with 5G which shows that users will enjoy downloads, uploads and streaming at 5G speeds, so far there is a 5G reception in their location.

The cost of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G price begins with $526, which is approximately 203,437 Naira in Nigeria, 3,042 Cedis in Ghana.

The Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G was unveiled on 5th June, 2020, and was released for buying on June 12th, 2020.

My weekend was more about the Star Wars kick sit view, watching The Empire Strikes Back, Rogue One, and The Last Jedi, keept me on seat till the great news of a new trailer for The Mandalorian’s second season came in.

Realme 7 Ready For Full Review

How Realme managed to increase sales of their products during the pandemic remains facinating. Observing its latest lineup probably tells it will be able to maintain the momentum in the second half. One reason for that to happen is the arrival of the Realme 7 – a new phone with mind-blowing specs and an aggressive price tag.

Our unit comes in with a Mist Blue color and it looks quite beautiful for a phone in these price segments. The back has a two-tone finish with the two parts not only differing in their colors, but also in the way they reflect light.

The front is has a tall LCD, while the fingerprint scanner is on the right side. There is a single punch hole in the top left corner.

The phone support 30W fast charging, as seen by the charger in the box. Realme hasn’t announced a fancy name of the standard like the SuperVOOC 2.0 rebranded into SuperDart, but it is the familiar VOOC 4.0 technology. Realme promises a full charge of the ample 5,000mAh battery in 65 minutes.
