As Deborah Onwu, a nigerian social worker, was killed in Calgary, the Nigerian community in Canada was shocked.
At a Youth Care home on Friday, Onwu’s death happened and the action was taken by an 18-year-old she cared for.
Seun Ogunsola, President of the Nigerian Association of Calgary, told us about her kindness, kindness and dedication to their work even though he did not know her personally.
We are shocked. You know these things happen, but you feel like Calgary is a safer community. You never think anything would happen in your community.Seun Ogunsola – pmnewsnigeria.com
Ogunsola said Onwu might not have families living in Calgary because members of the Nigeria Association tried to contact their relatives but have been unsuccessful so far.
