About the Infinix Zero 8 [Introduction]

The Infinix Zero 8 remains the only second device from the Shenzhen company to make its way into the office. Majorly the cause of this is the company’s particular regionality, operational specific and localized popularity.

Though officially headquartered in China, Infinix has a major share of its roots in France, since the brand got its start in part after parent-company Transsion acquired the French manufacturer Sagem Wireless. Till date, Infinix research and development is widely done in France and Korea. The brand’s products are mainly popular in Africa but are now gaining grijfso in Asia and the Middle East. As for parent Transsion, their name is hardly well-know either, but its portfolio of brands includes Tecno and Itel, beyond Infinix. All three, together, allowed the Transsion group to be ranked the number six smartphone EOM in India during Q3 2019.

Full Infinix Zero 8 review

Infinix comes in a high-value, budget devices. The company, however, has cultivated distinct visual styles for many of its handsets. We can only assume that this is part of a brand-building attempts. Something we don’t get to appriciate well, due to the company’s limited Western presence, but also something that immediately shines-through when you look at the Infinix lineup.

Infinix Zero 8 full review

The new Infinix Zero 8 is fanatic example of distinct visual language. The large and distinctive rhombus camera module on the back tends to leave a remarkable impression. So charming, that we wonder why we haven’t seen this particular visual distinction from other manufacturers. Its effect on the Zero 8 is only further enhanced by the memorable matching geometric pattern on its back.

The whole redesign will be complete by the end of 2021

Wikipedia remains a very important part of web culture for nearly twenty years, allowing users browse its millions of text-heavy, crowd-sourced encyclopedia entries from their computer, tablet, or phone. Now, the overall look of Wikipedia on desktop will be looking different for the first time in a decade to make the site more approachable for new users.

To check all the proposed new features read here this MediaWiki post and there are some animated GIFs to show you what they might look like. Sincerely, I really like how the new table of contents feature looks. I tend to curiously read Wiki pages of public figures and this could make it a lot easier to navigate around certain sections of a page without having to scroll down on my computer.

From out observation, a collapsible sidebar will be the first change to roll out; this will allow users to collapse the menu on the left side of each page, to reduce distractions, and limit irrelevant content and links on the left of your screen to make it easier to focus. The site will also integrates an easy one-click button to change to the language for a page you’re reading.

Wikipedia will also add improvements to the in-site search tool to make it easier to find other pages and will reconfigure the logo to make it smaller on each Wikipedia page.

For now, we aren’t sure if the mobile version would receive the same redesign.
